Will a kit fit just because my axle count matches?
Axle count helps narrow the range, but it does not confirm fit. Check the cable route, branch positions, light mounts, vehicle connector, and brake requirements. Our kit guide collects those details so you know what to compare.
Do I need to splice the lighting harness?
Kraken kits use plug-and-play lighting connections. You still need to route and secure the harness, mount the lights, and follow your connection-specific instructions. The 7-way setup includes a frame-ground step.
Does a 7-way plug mean my brakes are included?
A connector option alone does not confirm brake compatibility. The standard kits are lighting kits. The Hydrapro EOH system is a separate option; choosing a seven-way plug does not add it. Confirm brake control, power and any auxiliary circuits separately before purchase.
Can I plan a different layout?
Compare your cable route and light positions with the kit’s routing overview. Extensions, splitters and custom combinations require a confirmed parts configuration before purchase.
Can I leave an unused connector unplugged?
The current kit instructions require all connections to be used and secured. Contact Kraken before leaving out a light or changing the layout; do not leave an open connector exposed.

Follow the installation guide for your selected connection. The 7-way kit requires a frame ground and a junction box mounted above the launch waterline. Kraken lists a lifetime warranty for its potted-circuitry LEDs. Confirm the applicable terms for your selected product before purchase.
